A Brief Overview
Provide work direction for associates leading multi-disciplined project teams providing required business expertise, as well as handling special projects. Partners with Global Operations functions to determine how to integrate the business and including coordinating process changes, data clean up, and special project efforts. Ensures alignment and coordination occurs with impacted areas of Global Operations and other areas of the company.
What You Will Do
- Provide work direction for the teams responsible for delivering solutions requiring business expertise and assure effective implementation of process and system improvements.
- Provide due diligence by collecting information, facts and key indicators pertaining to Global Operations projects and succinctly documenting findings for leadership team consideration.
- Provide work assignments and manage associates leading teams or acts as an individual contributor in conducting the review and assessment of business initiatives involving many complex factors. Assures appropriate communication and coordination with other function heads to facilitate knowledge transfer or understanding and/or impact analysis.
- Partners with Global Operations leadership team to track and manage actions plans and issues resolution as assigned.
- Works within teams and with leadership to prioritize projects on the basis of costs versus benefits.
- Participates and collaborates with other members of the Global Operations leadership team to develop goals/plans/budgets that align with division and company objectives and then manages to those expectations.
- Manages completion of special projects as they arise and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent related work experience required
- 8+ Years experience in insurance/reinsurance required
- 5+ Years experience in an administrative project lead or supervisory role required
- Broad knowledge of reinsurance admin and associated functions required
- Knowledge of integrated systems required
- High proficiency in data analytics and supporting tools (ie Excel) required
- Advanced oral and written communication skills demonstrating ability to share and impart knowledge; Strong facilitation skills. Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines required
- Advanced ability to investigate, analyze and solve complex problems/issues; Advanced ability to translate business needs and problems into viable/accepted solutions. Solid critical thinking skills required
- Self-motivated, collaborative, team player required
- Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions required
- Advanced persuasion skills when working with internal/external customers to resolve issues/problems. required
- Advanced ability to set goals and handle multiple tasks, clients, and projects simultaneously; Ability to appropriately balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables required
- Ability to work well within a team environment and participate in department/team projects. Advanced ability to lead through influence required
- Advanced skills in customer relationship management and change management required
- Reinsurance industry knowledge preferred
- FLMI, ARA or other relevant professional designation preferred

Compensation Range
$104,350.00 - $155,350.00 Annual
Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
