Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Associate Professor and Professor positions in the Department of Civil Engineering at Vardhaman College of Engineering, located in Hyderabad. The role involves conducting lectures, guiding student projects, engaging in research activities, and contributing to curriculum development. The selected candidates will also participate in administrative duties, mentor students, and collaborate with industry professionals to enhance academic programs.

Qualifications

1. Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a closely related field (Candidates without PhD need not apply)
2. More than 5 years of Teaching experience in Civil Engineering, with expertise in subjects like Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and related fields
3. Strong research background with a proven track record of publications in reputed journals
4. Experience in curriculum development and academic program planning
5. Excellent communication, mentoring, and collaborative skills
6. Ability to integrate industry trends into academic programs to provide practical knowledge to students
7. Commitment to promoting an inclusive and diverse learning environment
8. Relevant industry experience is a plus

9.  Preference will be given to candidates who are ratified as Associate Professor or Professor byJNTUH. (Note: This is a preferred criterion and not mandatory for application.)

3. Interview Process: The selection will involve a two-stage interview process:
