Job Description

EVERSANA data & analytics (D&A) practice is growing rapidly. We are actively looking for an Associate Principal level candidate to help support the rapid growth and expansion of the commercial analytics vertical. This position will be responsible for successful delivery of client programs for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and/or healthcare clients. The Associate Principal is responsible for coordinating efforts between customers, operations, medical and analytics teams and to enhance existing services business operations to generate new lines of business through custom data deliverables, consulting practices and new product development.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Leadership of commercial analytics engagement teams and client relationships
  • Plan, organize and lead engagement teams to develop logical and insightful analyses; innovative and effective recommendations.
  • Deliver well-structured, high-quality deliverables to realize high levels of client satisfaction
  • Take an active role in business development, building client relationships and identifying new business opportunities with clients
  • Lead development of proposals for new projects / commercial opportunities in partnership with Principals and/or Senior Principals
  • Hire, coach and develop staff members
  • Play an active role in data & analytics practice development and develop practice level intellectual capital
  • Take responsibility in development and management of external relationships (e.g., client, vendors, external experts)
  • Recruit new team members; manage and coach junior team members and serve as a subject matter expert and thought partner to colleagues
  • Develop broader and deeper knowledge of consulting methodologies and the pharmaceutical market through on the job exposure and formal training
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Travel (10%)
  • Hours (40 Hours per week, 5 days per week)

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution with a relevant concentration.
  • Experience and/or Training
    • 9+ years of overall work experience with at least 5+ years of proven experience in applying data & analytics services in in life sciences (required)
    • Established network of contacts and referrals with the life sciences industry.
    • Demonstrated track record of success in leadership, planning and execution of data & analytics engagements to life sciences companies—or in the healthcare industry.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication skills and ability to deal with unstructured real-world problems.
    • Excellent communication, presentation and client influencing skills. Ability to interact with all levels of customers, end users and colleagues.
    • Strong collaborator and relationship builder.
    • Knowledge of key issues, trends and current developments in the pharmaceutical, medtech and healthcare industries
    • Familiarity with Matrix organizations and ability to operate with start-up excitement
    • Understanding of AI/Machine Learning models

  • Technology/Equipment (if applicable, the proficiencies required to perform the job)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Advanced degree(s) (e.g., MBA, PhD, MD) highly preferred
  • Experience and/or Training
    • Experience at a top global management consulting firm.
  • Technology/Equipment
    • Proficiency at SQL, Tableau, Snowflake knowledge.

Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $173,000 to $242,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
