Responsibilities:

Feature Development

• Identify and plan for new features in mobile applications
• Advise and implement new mobile products, applications, and protocols
• Develop application programming interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality
• Use and customize existing web apps for mobile applications
  
  

Application Lifecycle Management

• Support the entire application lifecycle, including concept, design, test, release, and support
• Produce fully functional mobile applications by writing clean and efficient code
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions to meet user and business needs
• Liaise with the product development team to plan new features and ensure cohesive integration
  
  

Coding and Testing

• Stay up to date with terminology, concepts, and best practices for coding mobile apps
• Write unit and UI tests to identify and fix malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance
• Design interfaces to improve user experience and ensure intuitive navigation
  
  

User Interaction and Feedback

• Communicate with users to understand their needs and experiences
• Incorporate user feedback into application updates and new features
• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
• Maintain and enhance existing mobile applications based on user feedback and performance metrics
  
  

Pitches and Presentations

• Participate in pitch presentations and brainstorming sessions, providing technical insights and support
• Assist in preparing presentation materials and effectively communicating technical ideas to internal teams and clients
• Present and justify development decisions and approaches to stakeholders and clients
• Support the creation of technical documentation for client presentations
  
  

Industry Knowledge

• Stay updated on market developments and opportunities in mobile app development, digital technology, and software engineering
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices related to mobile app development
• Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in mobile app development and related tools
• Collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices for continuous improvement
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Mobile Developer
• Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App Store or Android Market
• Extensive knowledge of at least one programming language such as Swift or Java
• Familiarity with OOP design principles
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Superior analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
• Ability to perform effectively in a team environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to interpret and follow technical plans
• BSc degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
• Proven ability to stay current with the latest trends and best practices in mobile app development
