About the Role

As a Supervisor in the Merchandise Business Support team, your responsibilities include process transition, strategizing scope for business expansion and stability. Monitor performance metrics and identify growth opportunities. Core responsibility will be people management alongside managing and building strong stakeholder relationships, oversee project implementations and mentor the team within Merchandise Business Support. You will be accountable to deliver various results aligning to business goals ensuring governance and guidance over the deliverables and metric achievement and of the team.


Responsibilities

  • Must have 8-10 years of experience in Retail or Ecommerce business
  • Experience in Merchandising Operations will be added advantage
  • First Escalation point to the team at GSC & addressPeople, Process & Technology Challenges daily.
  • Ability to understand various operations within Merchandising like Vendor Operations, Item set up and maintenance activities.
  • Create SOPs and documentation and establish governance on the same
  • Deliver projectstakeholder updates at scheduled intervals& execution of projects.
  • Strong track record of working effectively with Cross functional stakeholders & maintain stronger relationship
  • Strong MS Office skills– Proficiency in Excel and provide strong Pivoting of information.
  • Expert problemsolving and analyticalskills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to support a flexible work schedule which sometimes requiresavailability to other time zones, projects, and team members as needed.
  • Ability to operate independently, handle changing priorities, and achieve deadlines.
  • People Manager with strong influencing & interpersonal skills. Proficient in People management: should have managed 8-15 resources.
  • Ability to create a strong team and collaborative work environment


Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Masters / Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field; 8-10 Years of experience in Retail / Convenience Retail.
  • Certifications in Powe-BI, Lean Six Sigma project, SQL is a Plus.
