Razorpay, Bengaluru is hiring for an Associate Manager - Ad Operations
Roles and Responsibilities -
Data Collaboration: Work closely with analytics to gather data points for opportunity sizing, facilitating co-funded offer pitches to banking partners.
SQL & Query Handling: Utilize basic SQL skills or querying tools to pull relevant data on a timely basis, supporting critical deal closures.
Offer Alignment & Accuracy: Ensure precise alignment on offer constructs, discount sharing, and associated details, maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
Bank Visibility Coordination: Collaborate with bank stakeholders to secure adequate offer visibility on bank platforms/assets, boosting campaign saliency.
Reconciliation Oversight: Pull and share recon files with banks at the end of the offer period, following up rigorously to confirm completion within agreed SLAs.
Finance & Invoicing: Raise invoices to the banks, track payments, and coordinate financial documentation for discount share recovery.
Issue Resolution: Address escalations related to bank-centric offers or ad campaigns by coordinating with product/engineering teams for prompt resolution.
Data Driven Insights: Leverage Tableau and other BI tools to monitor key performance metrics, streamline offer processes, and make informed decisions.
Legal Coordination: Liaise with the legal team to finalize agreements with banking partners, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and timelines are followed.
Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with analytics, product, and tech teams to align on campaign objectives, conduct root cause analyses, and optimize offer and ad network performance.
Merchant Focused Role
Opportunity Sizing: Collaborate with analytics to gather data for assessing the feasibility of co-funded offers, supporting merchant sales discussions.
SQL & Query Handling: Run basic SQL queries or coordinate with analytics teams to retrieve critical merchant data points, accelerating deal negotiations.
Offer Configuration: Raise and manage requests for offer configuration, adhering strictly to go-live timelines committed by the merchant sales team.
Discount Share & Construct Alignment: Validate and document bank discount shares and other nuances in the offer construct, ensuring every detail is accurately captured.
Merchant Visibility Coordination: Work with merchants to ensure optimal offer exposure across their platforms and promotional assets, maximizing customer engagement.
Mandatory Qualifications-
Education: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree: good to have) in Marketing, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 6 years of professional experience in roles involving campaign management, banking alliances, or merchant partnerships; exposure to fintech, payments, or ads domain is a plus.
Analytical & Technical Aptitude:
Basic understanding of SQL or experience running queries.
Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau to track KPIs and drive data-informed decisions.
Stakeholder Management:
Proven ability to coordinate with multiple cross-functional teams (analytics, product, tech, finance, legal) and external partners (banks, merchants).
Communication & Collaboration:
Strong presentation skills; comfort with leading negotiations and mass outreach for deal closures.
Excellent interpersonal skills to handle escalations and navigate complex agreement closures.
Attention to Detail:
Ability to maintain accuracy in offer constructs, discount-sharing details, and reconciliation processes.
Good to Have:
Prior experience working in e-commerce growth teams or category management roles, demonstrating aptitude in data-driven decision-making and rapid scaling of initiatives.
