Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, within CAB’s Written Operations Unit, the Associate Government Program Analyst (AGPA) provides analytical assistance to determine where changes are needed to improve process and procedures for CAB operations, including case management, managing various email inboxes and CPUC General Order/ruling updates pertaining to investor-owned utilities regulated by the CPUC. The role will require quality management of informal complaints, coding accuracy, analysis and recommendation of complaint resolution processes and providing support to CPUC policymakers and other stakeholders analyzing the various consumer complaints database. The AGPA regularly prepares data and written analyses, conducts data queries for review of accuracy in the Consumer Information Management System (CIMS) coding, and works closely with Analytical, Quality Assurance and operational staff within CAB.
