Key Responsibilities
- Performs end-to-end accounting and reporting tasks for an entity
- Performs monthly balance sheet review for in-scope entities in Latin America (LAM) region, including verifying accuracy and substantiation of all relevant accounts, and implementing appropriate action points in case of deviation from acceptable accounting principles
- Conducts financial statement analysis, coordinate with various process owners to consolidate specific accounting and tax information (as necessary), and provide reports on operational result
- Coordinates internal control attestation with relevant control performers
- Handles annual external audit
- Fixed asset accounting and capitalization along with depreciation run
- Prepares indirect/direct tax requirements for tax calculations and filing
- Manages stakeholders and conduct regular calls with business partners
- Ensures all implemented processes and procedures are documented and kept up to date
- Delivery of assigned tasks within the specified time and quality.
- Handles more complex entities in the Logistics and Services Americas
- Ensures reconciliations and explanations are being done, highlighted, and provide for Center requirements such as narrative files, MPR, and pre and post close requirements
- Participates and involves in ATR automations and projects to drive process efficiencies
- Relevant additional tasks, as deemed necessary
- The position will primarily report to and support LAM Regional Controllers
We are looking for
- 6 years’ experience in Finance
- Excellent understanding of finance and business
- Experience in ERP systems like SAP, IFS, Dynamics is preferred
- An analytical mind that is able to link/ relate to and analyze information
- Superior Stakeholder Management and Communication skills
- Graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably CPA
- Familiar with MS Office
- Excellent communication skills both in verbal and written
- Highly analytical, adaptable and agile
- Confidentiality and discretion of a very high level is expected
- Capable of meeting very strict deadlines and flexible to work in a team environment
- Highly energetic and self-motivated, proactive and resourceful
- Able to adapt successfully to multiple tasks that occur in a rapidly changing environment and to perform in highly interruptive conditions to meet time pressures/deadlines
- Also be able to have Project management background to assist in various finance platform migrations, projects and automations
- Willing to work on Night/Graveyard Shift
- Willing to work overtime whenever the business needs
