With the team growing, this Associate Engineer role will provide you the opportunity to work in various sectors as part of an enthusiastic and committed team of engineers and technicians. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple sectors, broadening your experience and expertise across a variety of industries.
Working on a variety of projects, you will manage the delivery of civil and structural designs within projects, according to requirements, you will ensure project teams have in place appropriate skills and resources and ensure compliance with business quality & management systems. You will also be involved in the implementation of change, as directed by the Director and Principal Engineer.
Responsibilities
Team:
- Lead and support a team of engineers, ensuring quality project delivery
- Mentor and develop junior engineers towards professional accreditation
- Contribute to the growth and development of the C&S department
Task
- Oversee the delivery of civil and structural designs across multiple projects
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and business management systems
- Manage project resourcing, fee estimates, and reporting
- Lead technical design reviews and ensure design quality
- Promote innovation and sustainability in project solutions
People
- Provide guidance and expertise within a multidisciplinary environment
- Build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships
- Support individuals to maximise their potential
About You
- Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer CEng MICE/MIStructE
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in civil and structural engineering, with a strong technical background
- Experience managing and mentoring teams
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary environments and liaise with clients and stakeholders
- Proven experience working in a multidisciplinary team, integrating civil and structural design with other engineering disciplines
