Summary

Dynamic Manufacturing is currently hiring an Associate Engineer - 2nd Shift to join our growing team. The Associate Engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining high complexity industrial equipment. Candidate must demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills and very advanced electrical and mechanical hands-on skills.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Work with Engineers to implement projects
  • Read, edit, and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Read, edit, and understand hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams
  • Implement electrical and mechanical solutions
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical design issues
  • Install completed projects on production floors
  • Debug projects once installed on the production floor
  • Train other departments in the operation of projects
  • Create Preventative and/or Predictive maintenance documents
  • Perform or manage the execution of preventative maintenance
  • Provide or manage the execution of maintenance reports
  • Evaluate status of equipment to determine necessary repairs, redesigns or rebuilds
  • Assist in scheduled sensor validations and calibrations
  • Use troubleshooting skills to identify root case of machine issues

Qualifications

  • 8-11 years of practical experience and demonstrated knowledge of:
    • Maintenance of Electrical, Mechanical, and Industrial equipment
    • Hydraulic and pneumatic components such as pumps, valves, and cylinders
    • Wiring and wiring best practices
    • Making harnesses
    • Electrical Panel layout and implementation
    • PLCs, HMI, Relay-based, and DAQ circuits
    • Analog sensors such as pressure and torque transducers
  • Proximity sensors, their types and operation
  • Reading electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings created in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and Visio
  • Soldering Printed Circuit Boards
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to understand regular operation of equipment with minimal documentation
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems with minimal guidance and assistance
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products
  • Strong communication skills. Organized, skilled in technical writing and thorough in documenting work
