Salary/Hourly Rate

$140k - $160k +

Position Overview

The Associate Director of Business Intelligence (BI) will increase the use of data throughout the company and ensure that all team members have the data they need to inform their decision-making process. The Associate Director of Business Intelligence (BI) will do this by creating data products and solutions that scale across our portfolio of clients. They will also help drive education and adoption of these data products throughout the organization. They will also lead and train a team of managers and analysts, overseeing projects. The project will include such things as onboarding new clients, implementing data pipelines, and guiding team members on procedures. Please note that there is no OPT or sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities Of The Associate Director Of Business Intelligence (BI)

• Create data products to be used by the stats modelling team (data science team). this role focuses on data accessibility within the company, vs analyzing data to present insights.
• Work on onboarding client 1P data into the data warehouses with the data engineering team - this data will be used to help create KPIs for media campaigns.
• The Associate Director of Business Intelligence (BI) will be responsible for managing 3 - 5 people.
• Develop and enhance the data and analytics capabilities.
• Drive education and adoption of data products across teams.
  
  

Required Experience/Skills for the Associate Director of Business Intelligence (BI):

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a similar field.
• 2 - 3 years of experience in media, advertising, or a similar industry.
• 3 - 4 years using SQL in a work environment.
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.
• Experience with Git or a similar version control system.
• Experience with Python or a similar programming language.
• Experience with Presto, Hive, or Spark SQL.
• Experience with BI or dashboard tools like Tableau, Looker, or Domo.
• Experience with DBT (data build tool).
  
  

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Associate Director of Business Intelligence (BI):

• 2+ years managing and mentoring junior team members preferred.
