Key Responsibilities: * Cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift prospects and donors to advance the School of Social Work's mission and fundraising goals. * Manage a portfolio of 125-150 prospects, developing strategies for early-stage cultivation and strengthening engagement, including across UB's health sciences schools. * Partner with university leaders, faculty, and volunteers to coordinate advancement efforts and foster meaningful alumni and donor relationships. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree * A minimum of three years in a fund-development role, with demonstrated success in goal-achievement, planning and personal solicitation. Related experience in professional sales/marketing, financial planning/advising and other fields will be considered. * Strong problem solving and oral and written communication skills. * Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen and interact effectively with donors or high-level volunteers. * Technical/digital competence. * Demonstrated commitment to collaboration as well as the ability to work well both independently and collectively with a diverse team and donor/prospect constituency. * Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, which includes local and regional visits, and work evenings and occasional weekends. Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands Salary Range $70,000 - $72,000 Additional Salary Information The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.
