This role is responsible for developing and driving end to end Supply Chain strategy projects to support India business vision for growth and profitability.
The purpose of this role is to conceptualise and drive all ongoing and new Supply Chain transformational Projects such as DT4, network transformation, new capacities in south, warehousing transformation projects, E2E cost optimisation, Agro sourcing network, RM/PM sourcing network etc
Supply Chain delivers annual productivity of around $30-40MM across make, move, Agro and this role facilitates a some strategic projects that enable this kind of productivity delivery.
Currently one of the major projects that the incumbent will drive is DT4 (Drive the Four) - this is a transformational project that aims to fundamentally transform the India Foods ‘Make-Move-Sell’ value chain by significantly reducing the no. of times product gets handled through the value chain, impacting every step of the value chain, thereby driving a step change in productivity, customer service and other allied benefits
Responsibilities
Accountibilities:
Continuously assess and conceptualize opportunities across end-to-end Supply Chain to drive transformational projects for productivity, process improvements, long term strategic solves, etc.
Program manager for DT4 initiatives across Make, Move & Sell - Drive the execution, yearly network refreshes, project planning for DT4 to deliver the stipulated multimillion dollar savings under this project across years
Project manager for supply chain transformational projects like E2E cost optimization, Lays @ 3P, Advantaged freight, or any new projects
Continuously keep identifying incremental productivity opportunities through structural changes in the value chain like - new comans, new delivery models to customers, warehouse transformations, etc
Align key stakeholders across category, sales, Finance in both leadership and execution teams backed by robust data analysis and execution feasibility assessment
Lead executive communication at India, sector and global (if required) level on key projects
Liaise with IT in enabling new tools or system changes required to ensure system readiness for initiatives
Collaborate with HQ and field sales teams to identify incremental opportunities in GTM initiatives by identifying ways to remove/reduce SC limitations
Act as central point of contact for any new systems implementation across the LD&T sub-function like WMS, IBP, etc.
Anchor network design agenda for India BU in collaboration with sector network design lead
Report out productivity for DT4 and transformational initiatives to BU Excom and sector leadership on a periodic basis
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Min Experience of 9-10 years in Supply Chain, consulting with a good pedigree.
Strong SC professional with high level of commitment, passion, and ability to handle stress and deliver results
Very strong analytical and critical thinking along with influencing skills
Understanding of supply, demand & inventory planning, logistics and warehousing preferred
Project/program management experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
Very strong communication skill - written and oral.
Interpersonal relations - Customer Service Orientation, Collaboration, and Influencing Skills
