WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an experienced and visionary
Associate Director to lead the development and execution of digital media strategies across our GC or APAC regional markets. In this pivotal role, you will drive digital innovation, enhance brand presence, and support performance marketing initiatives tailored to local market dynamics. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING ON ANY GIVEN DAY
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead comprehensive regional digital media strategies aligned with overall business goals and tailored to local market needs.
- Client Management :
Serve as a strategic partner to key clients, providing leadership, insights, and consultation to ensure client satisfaction and long-term value.
- Market Intelligence & Insights: Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in digital media.
- Campaign Strategy & Optimization: Provide strategic insights and recommendations for multi-channel digital campaigns (paid social, programmatic, search, display, video, etc.), ensuring performance KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with regional marketing, creative, product, and data teams to ensure seamless strategy execution and integration across channels.
- Team Development & Leadership: Manage and mentor a regional team of strategists, analysts, or media planners, fostering a high-performance, data-driven culture.
- Innovation & Emerging Tech: Stay ahead of digital trends, platforms, and tools; recommend and test new opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Budget Management: Oversee regional digital media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and strong ROI on marketing investments.
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
- 10+ years of experience in digital media strategy, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of leading successful digital campaigns across multiple regions or markets.
- Experienced and knowledgeable in digital marketing across multiple channels
- Previous agency experience working in strategy and leading large scale client engagements
- Be truly collaborative and integrated in your approach with a strategic mindset and a proactive attitude
- Proven ability to lead new business pitches and grow services
- Be an exceptional communicator skilled in articulating complex information to senior clients of differing knowledge levels
- Be unafraid to push boundaries in your commitment to finding solutions to solve complex challenges
- Able to demonstrate exceptional negotiating skills with an aptitude and eye for commercial opportunities
- Deep knowledge of digital platforms, analytics tools, attribution modelling, and audience targeting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in managing regional teams and collaborating with global leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
