We're looking for an Associate Director, Finance Modelling and Methodologies Specialist to be: * Responsible for the development of econometrics forecasting models for key Balance Sheet and Income Statement line items for capital and business planning purposes. * Aid in the design, enhancement, and implementation of financial risk, valuation, and forecast model tools, and analytics. * Participate in data processing and management, including data manipulation and data mining using various statistical methods including Outlier Detection, Variable Clustering, Variable Reduction, and Variable Selection. * Prepare and manage extensive model documentation covering end to end model development, model use, and testing process. * Recalibrate forecasting models periodically to ensure that models are in sync with the current macroeconomic situation and bank's business strategy. * Present consolidated forecast for the investment bank to the senior management and defend numbers forecasted by these models. * Responsible in managing complex conversations with key stakeholders to seek sign-offs on final selected models. * Perform statistical tests to establish that models meet minimum requirements set by the model risk management committee. Your expertise * Education & Experience Requirement * This position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Mathematics, or a related field of study and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as a Lead Capital Market Analyst, Senior Capital Market Analyst, Capital Market Analyst, Capital Market Intern, or a related occupation. * Alternate Education & Experience Requirement * The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a Economics, Mathematics, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Lead Capital Market Analyst, Senior Capital Market Analyst, Capital Market Analyst, Capital Market Intern, or a related occupation. * This Position requires experience with the following: * Understanding of statistical techniques including Ordinary Least Square regression (OLS), Autoregressive Models, Error Correction Models, and ARIMA Analysis * SQL * Creating presentation material on detailed technical topics * Presenting consolidated financial forecast to senior business partners * Data extraction from databases * Financial modeling and financial services such as Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review * Detailed Excel spreadsheet analysis * Understanding and explaining macroeconomic scenarios * Coding in Python * Statistical tools including R and SAS * Experience may be gained through graduate-level coursework, research, or teaching experience About us UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
