About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Associate Director – CX to join our client’s team in Bangalore. In this leadership role, you'll drive the strategy, design, and development of modern, user-centric web applications and digital platforms. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and accessible digital experiences while mentoring and guiding engineering teams and engaging with global clients.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the hands-on development of immersive, responsive web applications using modern frameworks (React, Next.js, TypeScript).
  • Set strategic direction on architecture, design, and emerging technology adoption for enterprise-grade applications.
  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring technical excellence, timely execution, and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define technical approaches, delivery plans, and innovation roadmaps.
  • Maintain and enhance CMS-based and custom applications (WordPress, Contentful, Sanity).
  • Lead code quality initiatives by advocating for clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Optimize UI for performance, accessibility (a11y), and scalability across devices and platforms.
  • Develop reusable web components/libraries and support internal tooling efficiency.
  • Mentor and grow engineering talent; foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and collaboration.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup, web server maintenance, and performance tuning.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, design, QA, DevOps, and client teams to deliver seamless experiences.
  • Act as a product and technology evangelist within the organization and to external stakeholders.


Requirements:
  • 16–21 years of total experience, with at least 5+ years of hands-on development in modern frontend frameworks (Next.js, React, TypeScript).
  • Strong technical leadership and experience managing large, distributed development teams.
  • Proven success in stakeholder engagement and client relationship management (North America client experience preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern styling libraries (Tailwind, Bootstrap, SCSS).
  • Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Zustand, or XState.
  • Strong proficiency in integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Familiarity with headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Sanity) and SSR techniques.
  • Proven expertise in delivering large-scale, performant, and accessible web applications.
  • Experience working with DevOps to set up deployment pipelines, troubleshoot CI/CD, and manage cloud hosting (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and version control (Git, GitHub).
  • Strong communicator with the ability to present complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent field.


Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Framer Motion, React Spring, or other animation libraries.
  • Knowledge of Angular, Vue, and data visualization tools like D3, Highcharts.
  • Experience with Vercel for deployment and hosting.
  • Exposure to AI/ML, serverless architectures, and real-time streaming technologies (Kafka, Redis).
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards, especially in animated UI design.
