Role Overview
A role to complement a rapidly growing Institutional Client Services (ICS) Business Development & Marketing (BD&M) team for ICS US, working closely with the wider JTC BD&M team covering ICS and Group activity.
PURPOSE OF JOB
Primary focus will be on the external marketing of the ICS US Fund Administration service line with some overlap of the business development program. As Associate Director of the ICS Marketing team you will work alongside the ICS Head of BD&M and existing team to drive and deliver the external marketing program. The role includes working closely with existing team members to meet the department KPIs of raising JTC’s profile among ICS’s US target audiences and using all available marketing tools and channels to deliver our proposition with measurable outcomes.
Main Responsibilities And Duties
Work collaboratively with the existing ICS Marketing team to deliver the external marketing program, including campaign management, content production and oversight and delivery across digital and traditional channels as well as collateral management.
Manage the production of quality thought leadership content – being proactive about content generation as well as reacting quickly when opportunities arise.
Content includes all platforms such as written, video, webinars, podcasts, etc.
Collaborate with and support the Events Manager where necessary, which may include travel.
Provide marketing support to the SALI team in Austin with various responsibilities including collateral assistance, New Year gifts, etc. In addition, project manage and run the annual Fall Private Placement Conference in New York.
Develop a good relationship with ICS trade media to increase PR coverage.
Develop enhanced brand awareness in relevant local jurisdictions through increased content/local CSR sponsorships and PR.
Ongoing creation, management and oversight of website and collateral content.
Manage relevant award submissions and award entry timetable – making sure quality submissions are made on time.
Work with the EMEA ICS BD&M team to identify joint marketing efforts always ensuring efficiency and alignment to the marketing KPIs for ICS US.
Assist ICS Head of BD&M to proactively monitor the performance of the marketing program using a clearly defined set of metrics and available tools (e.g. Salesforce CRM and Einstein Analytics reporting).
Attend regular internal marketing and BD meetings and assist with providing meaningful, accurate updates on marketing campaigns, competitor activity and brand strength.
Work with ICS and Group marketing colleagues to drive the effective use of internal communications to support the commercial aims of the ICS Division.
Work with the Digital marketing team to ensure effective reporting on marketing initiatives.
Support ICS and BD&M team with activities as required.
Proactively contribute to developing effective and efficient internal procedures.
Undertake travel as required, in line with the Group’s travel policy.
Adhere to Risk & Compliance policies and procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation and to any Divisional policies and procedures.
Develop self and commit to becoming deeply expert in relevant fields at all times.
Adhere to applicable CPD requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures where relevant.
Ensure the spirit of JTC is engendered and shared within the Group and adhere to the JTC core values and expected behaviors.
Any other relevant duties as deemed necessary by Management.
Essential Requirments
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
5+ years Marketing experience at Senior Manager level or above – experience in communications highly advantageous.
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
Demonstrable technical knowledge in financial services marketing, experience in Fund Services and / or Corporate Services advantageous.
Demonstrable experience of directly managing third party resources and budgets.
Relevant professional qualifications (Marketing degree or equivalent qualification, etc.).
