About The Role

As Associate Director - Business your choices and solutioning will direct the way India shops. How? For starters, you will be a key stakeholder in shaping business org at Meesho, which is responsible for what sells on the app - categories, pricing, quality, brands - along with ensuring strong seller growth and experience.

You will also drive implementation with complete autonomy in terms of team building and implementation of processes that you set up. One of your key responsibilities will be to manage and own the overall P&L of the business unit that you lead. And if you need tech interventions for your solutions, you will collaborate with the Product, Tech, and Strategy teams too.

What You Will Do

  • Bachelors in Tech or Masters in Management and 6-12 years of experience in relevant fields
  • 2-3 years of experience in Strategy consulting/Implementation consulting
  • Experience working in tech startups (e-commerce, b2b commerce etc) will be added advantage
  • Strong problem discovery to break down 10x opportunities
  • Ruthless prioritization skills between immediate, medium and long term goals
  • Experience working across different teams and delivering projects successfully


What You Will Need

  • Own the responsibility of GMV of the business + seller growth/ experience
  • Optimize and plan P&L
  • Own business operational strategy including both financial & operational inputs/outputs, forecasting, monitoring, & reporting
  • Drive Product-category-fit for the org
  • Build a selection strategy and plan to solve existing gaps in customers and seller strategies
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the product and category, customer behavior, and existing gaps in the market
  • Build and mentor a high potential team who will independently drive business agendas
  • Provide the highest level of customer satisfaction and monitor the key metrics across both – the buyers and sellers
  • Track category metrics weekly and monthly to monitor goals and to drive continuous improvements
  • Build a robust scale-up plan over the next 12-18 months
