Purpose of Job- The purpose of the Associate DevOps Engineer is to help integrate development and operations processes to improve the speed, efficiency, and quality of software delivery. By automating workflows, optimizing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and managing infrastructure, you will contribute to building a robust, reliable, and scalable software development lifecycle. This role aims to bridge the gap between developers and IT operations to streamline collaboration, reduce manual tasks, and
enhance the overall system reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Optimize and automate CI/CD pipelines for rapid software delivery.
- Manage and scale cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to integrate code seamlessly.
- Set up and maintain monitoring systems for performance tracking and issue identification.
- Ensure environment consistency using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Implement security best practices during deployments and maintain secure environments.
- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Troubleshoot issues to ensure high system availability.
- Document systems, processes, and configurations clearly for team use.
Required Qualification
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for infrastructure management.
- Proficient in Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Strong skills in Bash, Python, or Shell scripting for automation.
- Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for configuration management.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking and security best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and issue resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
