Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation, cloud technologies, and continuous improvement. As an Associate DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the seamless deployment and operation of our applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to automate and streamline deployment processes.
- Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure, including S3, Lambda, RDS, and other AWS services.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and infrastructure issues.
- Ensure security best practices are followed in all aspects of the infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Basic understanding of AWS services and Serverless architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Associate certification.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
