Job Description:
The Global Client Group (GCG) leads Dimensional's effort to grow our business, through both increasing existing relationships and developing new client relationships. The Client Communications Team is responsible for strategically supporting GCG's sales efforts and our clients in several areas, including virtual communications, conferences, client events, and industry events. The Associate will specialize in industry event strategy, assisting with the planning and execution of 20-30 national industry events per year.
Responsibilities:
* Contribute to industry event strategy from start to finish, including analyzing event attendee demographics, identifying key prospecting opportunities, driving attendance to Dimensional networking events, fostering a productive onsite experience, and ensuring timely follow up with all business opportunities
* Collaborate with the Events Team, Marketing Team, and Investments Team to develop Dimensional's event-specific brand strategy
* Work closely with GCG Sales on pre-event proactive outreach and strategy, onsite execution, and post-event follow up
* Create a standardized system for evaluating and tracking ROI from industry events
* Expand national Industry Event Strategy to encompass regional and channel-specific industry events
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree required with a strong academic record
* 1-3 years of work experience (including internships)
* Understanding of Dimensional's investment philosophy and product offering
* Strong project management skills including project planning, time management, organization, collaboration, and attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Exceptional Excel skills, with ability to learn new programs as needed (CRM, PowerBI, etc.)
* Proactive and enthusiastic approach to problem solving, and an inclination to think outside the box and lead with creativity
* Ability to work equally well in a team environment and independently, network and build strong relationships
* Willingness to travel
* SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses (or attainment within the first 12 weeks of hire as a condition of employment)
