Our team is currently seeking an experienced Associate Account Manager/Merchandiser Manager to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service.
Implements sales objectives created by the Regional and /or Account Manager. Meets or exceeds the sales plan and quota for retailer they are responsible for to further the Regions objectives.
Helps to meet sales budgetary objectives through forecasting; managing expenditures; analyzing variances; initiates corrective actions
Communicates with the Account Retail Team to ensure complete and timely execution of all retail task.
Acts as a liaison between D&W Logistics and the Accounts distributions to minimize over stock and out of stocks.
Accomplishes Account sales objectives by recruiting, and training, associates in assigned to their accounts; communicates job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.

Spend Three Days a week in Customer Presentations and/ or Store visits with merchandisers
Overall Responsibilities: This position is responsible for hiring, training, leading and managing the assigned team of merchandisers to maintain presentation standards for all Dietz & Watson products in accordance with mutually agreed upon customer standards. In addition, this position is responsible for coordinating, scheduling and communicating support activities for the merchandising team to achieve budgeted sales and profit objectives including store sets, demo/sampling activities, deli associate training and merchandising tasks to help customer goals and objectives. This position is also responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with retailer's key deli contacts at the multi-unit level. This position will mentor sales merchandisers to help them promote Dietz & Watson and develop deli associates that become Dietz & Watson advocates for promoting our products with the consumer.
Hiring & Training: The Merchandiser Manager will work with Human Resources and Sales Management to interview and hire candidates to maintain fully staffed teams in accordance with approved organizational charts including resume reviews and selection, initial phone screenings and in person interviews. The Merchandiser Manager will be responsible for coordinating all on boarding procedures with Human Resources and appointed company representatives to insure that the employee receives the necessary training and equipment to perform assigned tasks including but not limited to product knowledge, company procedures and standards.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred
Above average computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Prior merchandising and management experience; 2-3 years’ experience preferred
Flexibility and ability to travel extensively (including flying) as needed sometimes up to 25% of the time.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must have valid REAL ID document for travel
