About The Role
The Associate Director, Annuity Product Management is responsible for driving the successful implementation of all aspects of annuity product initiatives and ongoing support of the current annuity products. It is expected that this person will be recognized within the organization as a product expert.
Responsibilities
* Execute on new product launches and on-going oversight of Corebridge Retirement Services suite of annuity products, including group and individual products across fixed, fixed indexed, RILA and variable annuity products.
* Drive the design and implementation of group and individual annuity products to be offered within defined contribution plans and in the rollover & retail market.
* Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to drive new product designs.
* Maintain expertise around products, operational practices, and industry and regulatory issues.
* Learn new and existing product lines to be able to serve as SME on products and provide expertise and confidence in response to both technical and general questions.
* Assist with launching annuity products, services, and enhancements to current product lineup. Coordinate various stages of project life cycle with cross-function teams including IT, legal, compliance, finance, sales, and marketing to assure that the product timelines are executed in a timely manner
* Develop and maintain project plans and timelines in support of development work on annuity products and services
* Develop business requirements and product specifications for new products/features, and revisions to existing products and services
* Support other team members with project tasks as assigned
Skills and Qualification
* Annuity Product and Administration/Operations knowledge
* Retirement industry knowledge
* Retirement Plan knowledge
* Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects, and able to quickly assess and modify priorities as required when deadlines change
* Fundamental knowledge of Project Management methodologies, both waterfall and AGILE
* Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
* Series 6 license
* LIMRA/LOMA certifications in annuity and/or retirement products preferred
Work Location
This position is based in Corebridge Financial's Houston, TX office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
This position can be designated as remote.
