Summary
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate courses in Computer Science and Information Technology for majors and non-majors; this could include courses in computer languages, operating systems, database management, networking, etc.
Engage in course development and program design to incorporate innovative directions in computer science and/or to develop collaborative interdisciplinary curricula.
Advise IT majors, Math & CS majors, Web Development majors, Cybersecurity certificate students, students enrolled in the cybersecurity and crime minor and provide service to the department, college, and university.
Participate in professional development activities to remain current in the field.
Oversee maintenance of the computer lab, designated for CS/IT students.
Participate in scholarly activities such as scholarly writing, conference presentations, student and faculty research projects, and grant proposals.
