Summary

Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for executing system and process improvement initiatives across SingPost finance and business units and handling all day-to-day queries/ issues relating to the system. This role will work with finance and business leaders to execute system and process enhancements in Oracle products and be the “Technical” lead in the Process and System Excellence function.

Continuous Improvement

  • Work with One Finance as well as our Technology team to plan and execute a continuous improvement plan, specifically implementing simple to moderate complexity system enhancements.
  • Alongside the function heads, plan for and execute technical training of Oracle End Users on the system and processes
  • Work with all end users to update the system and process documentation, with the aim to continuously improving existing documentation considering system upgrades or business/operational changes


Managing Finance Technology Stack

  • Work with our outsourced Application Managed Services team in handling Oracle-related queries (including understanding critical technology and functional issues and having the tenacity to handle and resolving issues), and along with the team act as the main point of contact for One Finance and the rest of business. This will be for Level 1 and Level 2 tickets/ queries. The aim is for the individual to reduce the number of tickets that will be handled by our external partner.


Project Management

  • Partner with external vendors to manage key finance technology enhancement projects following the deployment of our Oracle Fusion ERP, Enterprise Performance Management (“EPM”) as well as revenue management and billing system
  • Work with external consultants to ensure deadlines of these projects are met and issues are proactively addressed


Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting or Accounting professional certification.
  • Minimum 10 years finance/accounting experience including 5 years' experience in implementing or supporting Finance ERP systems. Hands-on experience supporting (including design and configuration) any of the ERP modules GL, AR & AP Financial Reporting, Asset Management, Cost Accounting, Tax and Treasury.
  • Good working knowledge of closing and FP&A, as well as understanding of finance or controlling processes and best practices
  • Skilled in managing stakeholders
