Summary

Overview

The role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive trade marketing strategies to drive sales, enhance brand presence, and strengthen relationships with ecommerce platforms and local key accounts. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing, retail dynamics, and trade marketing principles to optimize sales performance and achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies tailored for ecommerce platforms and local key accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, product development, digital marketing) to align on overall business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities and develop actionable insights.
  • Account Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key account managers at major ecommerce platforms and local retailers.
  • Regularly review performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize sales and profitability.
  • Campaign Execution:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of promotional campaigns, including digital advertising, e-marketing, social media, and in-store promotions.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling content and visual assets for trade marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate the launch of new products and services, ensuring effective communication to trade partners and end-consumers.
  • Data Analysis:
  • Utilize sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to analyze the effectiveness of trade marketing efforts.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales growth, market share, and customer engagement.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to inform future strategies.
  • Budget Management:
  • Manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor expenses and adjust spending as needed to stay within budget guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in marketing or trade marketing or IDT/ecomm sales in multi-national company, experience in food and beverage industry is preferred
  • Strong analytical, strategic and logical thinking skills
  • Strong self-motivation
  • Ownership, agility, fast learning, fast iteration
