As Assistant to Project Manager for Precision General Commercial Contractors, Inc., you will working in the field. You will report to Project Manager(s). You will be expected to comply with the Precision GCC, Inc. Employment Handbook.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Take direction from the Project Manager(s), who is overseeing project(s) to which you are assigned.
Make sure all work has positive effect on the Quality, Safety, Timeliness and PGCC costs.
Work with subcontractors to:
obtain proposals
help define/clarify scopes of work, review submittals
review schedule and update as directed
schedule and oversee progress of work
encourage subcontractors to complete their work quickly and according to specifications
ensure that subcontractors comply with all OSHA and safety standards
Track completed work at assigned project(s).
Understand and work on scheduling with Microsoft Project.
Communicate with site management as to progress of work and notices.
Do "hands-on" work at the site as needed and/or assigned to you.
Work with suppliers to:
order needed supplies (using purchase order numbers)
follow-up on order materials (ordered by PGCC or subcontractors)
Assist with completion of weekly reports and submit to Project Manager(s) by Monday of each week.
Education
Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:
High school graduate; preferably enrolled in undergraduate program
