The Department
The IT Operations and Systems Department provides the Club’s internal and external customers with expected IT System and Services that enable business operations. The Department’s goal is to provide the Club’s IT customers with best in class IT service offerings and experience.
IT Operations and Systems serves as the primary user engagement channel for IT for help and service offerings fulfillment. Engagement is offered 24x7 via phone, email and direct on-site support.
IT Operations and Systems is the Service owner responsible for; IT Data Computing facilities; production Infrastructure platforms; Incident, Change, Problem, Resilience, Capacity, Configuration, Procurement functions; Service Assurance and Quality management; and Level 1 /2 system support functions.
The Job
You will:
- Provide initial support for technical issues reported by customers or internal teams, diagnose problems, coordinate maintenance services with vendors, and adhere to policies and procedures to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity
- Responsible for replacing betting computers and network equipment, configuring devices, and using excellent communication skills to engage effectively with users, providing clear explanations and support
- Verify that the records of computer equipment and spare inventory in the system are accurate. Additionally, keep thorough documentation of reported issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference
- Be available round-the-clock to handle emergency calls and incidents, ensuring prompt responses and resolutions to critical issues
- Other ad-hoc project as required
About You
You should have:
- A higher Diploma in a related discipline is preferred
- One (1) year of (full-time equivalent) verifiable personal computer, server & network equipment maintenance and repair experience
- Professional certificate(s) holder is preferable such as ITIL
- Strong PC hardware & software, MS Windows, basic server & network knowledge
- Passionate and a good team player
- Good communication skills and problem-solving ability
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
