The Assistant Sales Manager plays a key role in driving business growth by supporting the sales team in acquiring and retaining clients, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring smooth freight forwarding operations. The role involves managing customer relationships, coordinating with operations team, and achieving sales targets within the domestic logistics market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic freight forwarding.
2. Generate leads, conduct market research and expand client base.
3. Assist in preparing sales proposals, quotations and presentations.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
5. Address client inquiries, provide solutions, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
6. Work closely with Operations Team to ensure timely and cost-effective freight solutions.
7. Monitor shipments and provide updates to clients as needed.

9. Assist in budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning for the Sales Department.
