Harter Aerospace, a FAA certified repair station, is seeking an energetic self-starter that wants to start a career in aviation as an Assistant Material Receiving and Dimensional Quality Control inspector. Experience in FAA part 145 repair stations preferred but not required. Reporting to the Chief Inspector, the Assistant QC Inspector is primarily responsible for incoming materials receiving inspection, calibration items, records maintenance and in process parts dimensional inspection.
Based in Tempe, AZ, Harter Aerospace is a global aerospace maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) organization, licensed and certified by FAA, EASA, CAA, CAAC and JCAB, that performs inspection, testing, repair, and overhaul services on a variety of aircraft components. - Responsibilities:
- Receive in materials used in the repair of aircraft parts and functions of the repair station.
- Maintain calibrated tool and instrument database and ensure items that require calibration are sent out to the proper calibration facility in a timely manner.
- Maintain maintenance records inventory, storage and proper disposal.
- Dimensionally inspect aircraft parts and other items used in the repair of aircraft parts.
- Assist in the unboxing of incoming aircraft parts and boxing of repaired parts for shipment.
- Qualifications:
- Department of Transportation Requirement: Pass Drug and Alcohol screening.
- Experience not required; Harter Aerospace will provide on the job training.
- US Citizen or resident status.
- Read, write and speak English.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

- Education and certification:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
