Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the property while driving sales and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality. The Assistant Manager will assist in managing staff, inventory, and budgets to achieve goals. Duties Assist in overseeing daily property operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Lead and motivate the team to provide exceptional customer service. Conduct training development sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff. Manage inventory control processes, including stock replenishment and loss prevention strategies. Utilize retail math to analyze sales data, track performance, and make informed decisions. Communicate effectively with team members to foster a positive work environment. Handle shift management responsibilities, including scheduling and delegating tasks. Support budget management efforts by monitoring expenses and optimizing resources. Experience Proven experience in property management, preferably within hotel management. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation. Strong understanding of budgeting processes and principles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers and staff effectively. Experience in training development is highly desirable. Familiarity with inventory control systems is a plus.
