Assistant Property Manager - Dallas, TX
Full-Time | Commercial Real Estate
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations across a portfolio of commercial properties in the Dallas area. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who excels in tenant relations, vendor coordination, and administrative management.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Property Manager with daily operations of multiple office, retail, or mixed-use properties.
Serve as a point of contact for tenants regarding maintenance requests, lease inquiries, and general concerns.
Coordinate service requests and oversee vendor performance to ensure timely and high-quality resolution of maintenance issues.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including rent collection and invoice processing.
Prepare monthly financial reports, budgeting documents, and tenant communications.
Maintain accurate lease records, insurance certificates, and other compliance documentation.
Support property inspections and ensure the physical appearance of properties meets ownership standards.
Help coordinate tenant move-ins/outs, build-outs, and capital improvement projects.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in property management or commercial real estate support roles.
Strong understanding of lease agreements, property operations, and vendor contracts.
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar) a plus.
Ability to multitask, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Texas Real Estate License or willingness to obtain.
Familiarity with Dallas-area commercial property regulations and vendors.
