About The Role
Reporting directly to the Community Manager, the Assistant Property Manager plays a critical role in achieving occupancy goals, supporting resident satisfaction, and contributing to the overall operations of the community. This role is ideal for a confident, independent self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, demonstrates a willingness to grow, and is passionate about helping foster strong community pride. Key Responsibilities
Sales & Leasing
Convert inquiries into move-ins through engaging tours, strong follow-up, and relationship-focused selling
Proactively conduct outreach, schedule tours, and follow up without needing direction
Achieve leasing goals and KPIs each month to contribute to and maintain 95%+ occupancy
Be available for prospect meetings & events during evenings, weekends, and off-hours when needed
Support and execute community marketing plans, campaigns, and outreach initiatives
Assist with leasing paperwork, applications, compliance, and move-in coordination
Keep accurate leasing records, weekly traffic and occupancy reports, and competitor market surveys
Resident Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with residents to support satisfaction and retention
Assist in planning and executing community events aligned with the active adult lifestyle
Prepare newsletters, resident communication, flyers, and leasing collateral as needed
Communicate resident feedback and operational issues to the Community Manager promptly
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Sales, Marketing, or a related field
Demonstrated success in a sales-driven role; experience hitting or exceeding leasing or occupancy targets is a strong plus
Confident, persuasive communicator with a talent for building relationships and closing deals
Self-motivated and independent, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Competitive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
Professional, polished presence with a positive, energetic, and sales-focused attitude
