Assistant Project Manager – Construction (Large-Scale Vertical Projects) We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team and work on large-scale, complex vertical building projects. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are eager to take on responsibility, grow their careers, and develop into Project Managers. You will collaborate closely with a variety of teams within a fast-paced construction environment, managing critical project functions and contributing to the successful delivery of our projects. Key Responsibilities: As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with the Project Management team on various tasks, including: Supporting subcontractor and supplier buyouts, procurement, and management. Assisting with the project closeout documentation process. Managing the submittal and RFI processes. Evaluating RFPs and soliciting pricing from subcontractors and suppliers. Overseeing Owner and Subcontractor Change Orders. Resolving project-related issues in a timely manner. Tracking and ensuring the timely procurement of materials. Qualifications: Education: BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred, but not required). Experience: 2-5 years of experience in the construction industry, with exposure to project management tasks. Skills: Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A Team Player: A collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders.
