Summary

Tradeco Construction is seeking a qualified Assistant Project Manager for upcoming projects in and around Syracuse, NY. For a busy HVAC contractor.

The construction superintendent will lead the on-site construction team and oversee all work on site.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing the on-site construction team.
  • Coordinating and overseeing all work on site.
  • Project schedule review, short-term schedule production.
  • Ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Staging materials.
  • Following the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness.
  • Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders, and RFIs.
  • Coordinating with Subcontractors and Clients.

Construction Superintendent Requirements

  • 2 years as a construction manager, preferably in HVAC/ Plumbing Field
  • Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel.
  • Proficient with taking and uploading digital photographs.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds and to operate heavy equipment a plus
  • Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • OSHA 10 or 30
  • Reliable transportation
