Summary

What This Job Involves

  • Assist project manager/team on documents preparation and compilation, such as contract documents;
  • Assist in preparation of project progress report;
  • Assist in the vendor procurement process;
  • Assist to review drawings from LDI, interact with LDI and client as required to monitor, review and resolve related professional issues;
  • Inspect the progress of the construction; supervise the construction company according to the construction plan;
  • Involve in the production plan and the production meeting;
  • Assist construction manager to ensure the progress, quality, and safety of the on-site structure, decoration, and outdoor construction, and manage day-to-day project deliverables;
  • Ensure site works are in strict accordance with blue drawings;
  • Involve in the inspection of key procedures of the construction, the first and final check, and acceptance of completed construction project;
  • Build a good relationship with the government bureau and related companies in order to get construction permits and related certificates;
  • Assist in reviewing the VO to make sure the VO is valid and then check the detailed engineering quantity in VO;
  • Assist in technical handover such as making a defection list and tracking the rectification measures taken by contractors;
  • Undertake other tasks as required;
  • Assist in the maintenance of the online Project App System used to manage projects;
  • Assist team where possible in APM education discipline;
  • Monitor and Enforce safety & ethic on-site projects and in the JLL office;

Desired experience and technical skills

Education /Work Experience Requirement:

  • At least 2 years' working experience specialized in interiors fit-out projects of foreign consultant or contractor firms.
  • Bachelor degree or above major in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • Educational qualifications in the field of building / project & construction management / engineering / architecture.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, MS Project, AutoCAD.
  • Independent, resourceful, possess a keen ability to learn, and with excellent work ethic.
  • Strong written & verbal English communication skill is essential.

Technical and Administrative Skills:

  • Proficient in English, in both oral and writing communications.
  • Be proficient in MS Office software, Auto CAD and MS Project to complete analysis & reports. Well-practiced in Power Point for presentations.
  • Familiar with China construction market, regulations and general practices. Understand the legal environment for each project and be able to direct project avoiding any legal risks.
  • Demonstrate market analysis ability to identify right opportunities.
  • To be able to conduct feasibility study.
  • Good knowledge of local codes and compliance related codes
