Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager will support the project management team in planning, executing, and closing projects. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget while adhering to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed of project status.
- Assist in risk management processes to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Support documentation efforts, maintaining accurate records of project activities and decisions.
- Utilize project management tools such as JIRA and Asana to track progress and manage tasks.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and collaborate on solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in project management or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Strong skills in scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and quality assurance practices is a plus.
