Location: Manhattan Beach, CA

Employment Type: Full‑Time, Entry‑Level

Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000 annually

Role Overview

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to help drive our development initiatives from concept through completion. Reporting to senior project managers, you will coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to keep projects on track, on budget, and aligned with our quality standards.


What You’ll Do

Project Coordination & Administration

  • Help oversee development schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure milestones are achieved
  • Facilitate entitlement, permitting, and regulatory compliance processes
  • Communicate with design and construction teams to resolve questions and align on project objectives
  • Document meeting discussions, assign follow‑up tasks, and maintain comprehensive project records

Construction & Site Management

  • Observe construction activities to confirm adherence to plans, codes, and safety protocols
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders in partnership with senior staff
  • Conduct regular site visits, log progress, and report any issues or delays
  • Work with contractors and vendors to expedite material orders and verify invoice accuracy
  • Support cost‑control efforts and assist with final punch‑list inspections

Financial & Reporting Support

  • Track project expenses, process invoices, and reconcile budget variances
  • Maintain critical project documentation such as contracts, permits, and compliance reports
  • Assist in preparing project status updates, investor presentations, and financial models
  • Coordinate loan‑draw documentation and ensure timely submission for financing

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Finance, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline
  • Genuine interest in real estate development and hands‑on project management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project‑management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project) is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting with keen attention to detail
