We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support project execution in our Irvine office. The APM will play a key role in managing project documentation, maintaining schedules and budgets, and ensuring clear communication between the field and office teams. This is an ideal opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their construction management career.

What You'll Do

  • Assist Project Managers with the coordination and execution of ground-up and tenant improvement projects
  • Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation
  • Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Support the development and maintenance of project schedules and budgets
  • Participate in OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings and document key action items
  • Ensure documentation is organized and up to date using project management software (Procore preferred)
  • Coordinate closely with Superintendents to resolve field issues and maintain construction timelines
  • Assist with project closeout, punch list coordination, and turnover packages

What You'll Bring

  • 2–5 years of construction experience in a project engineering or APM capacity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Familiarity with commercial construction methods, scheduling, and document control
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore and Bluebeam is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Local to Irvine or willing to commute as needed
