Position Overview: The Assistant Project Manager will provide support to the Project Manager in the coordination of commercial, industrial, and electrical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Lead project meetings and communicate project status to the Project Manager, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Track and document project deliverables, milestones, and tasks.
• Monitor and report on project progress and provide regular updates.
• Compile submittal packages and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage project budget and cost tracking.
• Develop construction schedules and perform regular schedule updates.
• Ensure project requirements are met and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Provide project support and assistance with contract administration and claims.
• Assist with quality control and safety inspections.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in project management, construction management, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project management or related experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of electrical construction practices, NEC codes, and Accubid.
• Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
