Responsibilities

  • Demonstrable experienced in leading projects and driving projects to their end-to-end solutions
  • Developing and managing relationships with all stakeholders across business lines and supporting infrastructure teams
  • A good understanding of information technology and key infrastructure components such as databases, servers, and other parts of the stack.
  • Coordinating timely execution of global projects / initiatives, which includes planning, identification of milestones, accompanied by user acceptance test phases as well as roll out, project documentation, tracking within the budget and the time frame
  • Increasing identification and management of process re-engineering programs with the aim to increase efficiency and achieve quality improvements
  • Maintaining production of deliverables, ensuring adherence to deadlines and to establishing quality standards
  • Supporting in the control and implementation of the IT system including budget planning and control
  • Analysis of ad-hoc queries and ability re-prioritize in order to support urgent activities at short notice
  • Develops & oversees project-related customer branding, marketing and communication content and channels.
  • Ensures required functionality in Bank Core Banking, Digital channels, including integration with third party.

Education

  • Diploma or university degree in a business or related field such as Bachelor of Computer Science or Information Systems or Business, Management, Commerce.
  • Must have a combination of project management and technical skills.

Job Requirement

  • Experience in managing a complex project in a demanding environment. Simply being smart and energetic enough to learn relevant design and IT skills on the job.
  • Preferably direct work experience in the financial industry.
  • Experience in project / change management environment, including ability to facilitate meetings / workshops
  • Motivated, self-starting – able to initiate and lead projects to the desired business outcomes
  • Assertive with excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication (written & oral) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trust and to mediate between various stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate effectively and to influence peers and senior managers, with the confidence and ability to structure, summarize, present project status as well as defend recommendations and business outcomes
  • Ability to develop innovative and creative solutions
  • Ability to understand the big picture and processes Front to Back (F2B) in order to identify and manage interactions and dependencies in a timely manner
  • Delivery focused with ability to prioritize multiple assignments and requests, and meet tight deadlines
