Pay Scale: $45,000-$55,000
Dynamy is an innovative, gap year program for young adults from across the country and internationally, servicing students ages 17- 22 years old. Students can apply for a full academic year or semester where they are immersed in a challenging schedule of activities, resulting in increased focus, maturity, self-awareness, and critical thinking skills. Dynamy challenges, supports, and empowers young people to discover their purpose in life and to practice their values. Dynamy prepares students for a successful transition to higher education and their lives beyond.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
The Dynamy Internship Year Assistant Director of Admissions will assist the Director of Admissions in all aspects of the admissions and recruitment process including, but not limited to:- Assisting the Director of Admissions in their various responsibilities;- Participating in a weekly admissions meeting with the Program Director, Director of Admissions, Coordinator of Student Support, and Administrative Assistant;- Assisting the Director of Admissions in the fielding of inquiry calls and emails from parents, students, education consultants and guidance/ college counselors;- Assisting the Director of Admissions in the follow up communications to inquiries acquired by Assistant Director of Admissions;- Scheduling and facilitating onsite information sessions and apartment tours for students, parents, education consultants and guidance/ college counselors;- Counseling prospective students and parents throughout the application process;- Coordinating in person student and parent interviews as needed;- Assisting the Program Director and Director of Admissions with the application evaluation process;- Attending local New England area travel for various college and transitions fairs (fall and spring);- Attending miscellaneous professional development trainings and marketing events, i.e., IECA Conference;- Organizing marketing and advertising initiatives including; constant contact email blasts; occasional photography, social media, merchandise and other miscellaneous projects;- Working with the Director of Admissions and the Administrative Assistant to coordinate various enrollment and yield events- parent's days, open house, fall opening day and spring opening day;- Assisting in the maintenance of prospective students and their application/enrollment status on the master excel spreadsheet;
Additional Responsibilities
* Maintaining and tracking all student payments, including; deposits, tuition, application fees, grants, scholarships, stipends, and Clark University course payments;- Maintaining, tracking, and analyzing admissions data including; enrollment trends, applications, and referral sources. Preparing a weekly report (March-September) and reporting to upper management;
Qualifications
* Bachelor degree preferred.- Background in admission/recruiting, marketing, or communications.- Candidate needs to be willing to travel, be detail-orientated, and have creativity.- Person should have presentation skills and strong interpersonal skills.
