The NEEDS Center is hiring a Full-Time Assistant Program Coordinator for our Rowley, MA and Tewksbury, MA, Day Programs. In this role, you’ll support adults with developmental disabilities in living fulfilling, independent lives while also taking the next step in your own career.

What You’ll Do

  • Support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence.
  • Work closely with the Program Coordinator to oversee daily program operations.
  • Provide hands-on direct care support to the adults in our care at least one day per week to ensure high-quality care
    • This may include grooming, arts & crafts, dressing, cleaning, and toileting.
  • Train and mentor staff, serving as a role model for best practices.
  • Assist in developing and implementing Individualized Support Plans (ISPs) and clinical programs.
  • Ensure a positive, structured, and engaging environment for residents.
What We’re Looking For:

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 1+ year of experience in a program setting that supports adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for helping individuals with disabilities live their best lives!
