Established by the Apeejay Stya Education Foundation in the state of Haryana [under Act No. 10 of the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act 2010], the ASU provides students not only 'education for living and livelihood' but also 'education for life' and empower learners with a fundamental foundation in leadership and professional skills to face the challenges of the new liberalized global economy.

Situated amidst a sprawling, picturesque campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure on the Sohna-Palwal Road in Gurgaon district of Haryana, the ASU offers a wide range of innovative graduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes across a plethora of disciplines that are based on the best education practices of some of the leading universities of the world. These are greatly facilitated by the strong industry-academia linkages, already established by the existing Apeejay institutions of higher learning in all disciplines being offered by the University.

KRA:

• Responsible for teaching via classroom instruction, directing projects,
• To support and guide students for their research and internships related work
• To develop innovative approaches to learning and teaching as appropriate.
• Responsible for providing photography and videography support to each school.
• Provide photography and videography support to the University events.
• Actively participate in providing content for ASU’s Social Media
• To design time to time new curricula and courses.
• To develop and implement innovative instructional methods
• To create, innovative and implement career-enhancement programs and activities.
• To review, evaluate and supervise academic progress of students.
• To timely monitor and observe the students attendance and assessments
• To ensure skill-based teaching in documentary making and supervise project work
• To Assist and support senior professor / Dean in their day-to-day tasks and functions / academic administration.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D / Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
• MA with minimum 55 % of marks from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Experience:

• A minimum of three years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry.
• Experience in industry will provide an added advantage to the candidate.
