Morgan & Mees Rotterdam is looking for an energetic Assistant Operations Manager who combines hospitality, leadership, and quality. You'll work closely with the Operations Manager and be jointly responsible for smooth daily operations — from guest experience to team development.

What will you do?

• Coach, motivate, and lead the team on the floor.
• Be visibly present during service to ensure atmosphere and quality.
• Ensure seamless cooperation between the restaurant, kitchen, front office, and housekeeping.
• Contribute to scheduling, inventory management, and cost-aware staffing.
• Help create the most welcoming experience in Rotterdam — whether in the hotel or the restaurant.

Who are we looking for?

• You have at least 2 years of leadership experience in hospitality.
• You’re proactive, service-oriented, and detail-focused.
• You're a true team player with natural leadership qualities.
• You can easily switch between hands-on operational work and strategic thinking.
• You're ambitious and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
