The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is Hong Kong’s statutory body for promoting Hong Kong’s trade with the world. Its Osaka office is inviting applications for the following position:

Assistant Marketing Manager

The incumbent will report to the Director, UK, Nordics & Ireland to perform the following major responsibilities in the London Office.

Job Responsibilities

• To recommend promotional strategies and programmes for the assigned industries, and to achieve the KPI targets.
• To establish/ maintain contacts with government agencies, trade associations, multipliers, key business leaders of the assigned industries.
• To provide efficient customer services both in office and onsite.
• To analyse industry developments by keeping abreast of the market intelligence in Japan, Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland.
• To ensure the smooth logistical arrangements for speakers/participants from Japan joining our relevant events in Hong Kong, and also when receiving incoming missions from Hong Kong.
• To exercise budget allocation/ control to maximum promotional effectiveness.
  
  

Job Requirements

• University graduate, with at least 5 years of working experience in Japan preferred.
• Experience in liaison with Government, Business organisations and corporations.
• Experience in organising promotional events such as trade fairs, business seminars, business delegations.
• Proficient in English and Japanese (business level).
• Similar work experience in Trade Promotional Organisations preferred.
• Previous work experience in HK/Chinese mainland/ASEAN countries preferred.
• General office PC skills (WORD/EXCEL/PPT/TEAMS)
