We are looking for a high-performing Assistant Manager – Sales to drive revenue growth through corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and exhibitor onboarding.


Role Overview:

As Assistant Manager – Sales, you will be responsible for driving event-specific sales, building lasting client relationships, and meeting revenue targets. You will handle the end-to-end sales cycle – from prospecting and pitching to closing and account management – with a focus on B2B engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target, and engage potential clients (sponsors, exhibitors, partners) across industry verticals.
  • Pitch upcoming events and custom sponsorship packages to C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align campaigns with sales goals.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close contracts in line with company policies.
  • Track and report sales performance against defined KPIs and revenue goals.
  • Ensure smooth handoff and coordination with event execution and client servicing teams.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships for repeat business across multiple event properties.


Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in events, exhibitions, media, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure deadlines and multitask across multiple events.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho) and sales reporting.
  • Self-starter attitude with a result-oriented mindset.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field.
  • Experience working with clients in tech, HR, BFSI, healthcare, or education sectors is a plus.
  • Understanding of sponsorships, exhibition selling, and corporate outreach strategies.
