Summary

Purpose:

To overlook the end-to-end process from Development to Bulk and to ensure effective delivery of the product to the customer approved spec whilst achieving high customer satisfaction results and contributing to meeting the company set top and bottom line.


Key Responsibilities:

Manage the Sales Topline Budget

  • Maintain and monitor the Sales Budget across assigned accounts to achieve and grow revenue.
  • Oversee the pipeline document to track sales opportunities.


Develop and Maintain Customer Database

  • Build a comprehensive customer contact database, identify key decision-makers, and engage with them.
  • Undertake travel to meet with local/overseas buying offices for comparative shopping reviews and customer base expansion.


Analyze Market Conditions

  • Assess market conditions, current elastic buys, and market pricing structures.
  • Liaise with local customers to fulfil customer requirements and maintain appropriate price lists.


Ensure Consistent and Achievable Pricing Strategies

  • Develop pricing strategies that are consistent with organizational goals and market conditions.
  • Ensure pricing helps achieve budgeted bottom lines and expands market share.


Understand Customer Buying Procedures

  • Gain deep insights into customer buying procedures and seasonal calendars.
  • Ensure product presentations align with customer requirements and timelines.


Review and Expand Product Range

  • Continuously assess the product range and sampling requirements to identify new business opportunities.


Collaborate on Costing and Technical Support

  • Work closely with the development team to prepare theoretical costing and manage the costing process.


Coordinate with Global Development & Sampling Teams

  • Identify capacity needs to meet customer demand for Sampling & Development.
  • Ensure adequate capacity is in place to execute developments linked to the budget.


Participate in Development and Strategic Meetings

  • Engage in weekly development meetings to discuss progress and strategic pre-production meetings to address issues.


Manage and Develop the Team

  • Ensure the team is effectively managed, resourced, and trained.
  • Set and achieve sales targets and KPIs to meet business objectives like capacity utilization and customer retention.


Facilitate Stakeholder Meetings

  • Organize and lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues quickly.


Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.

 

Knowledge & Skills:

Educational Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Degree, MBA, CIMA, CIM, Postgraduate Diploma, Higher Advance Diploma is preferred.

 

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years in the industry
