Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
Staff Management And Operations
Supervising warehouse personnel.
Training and developing warehouse staff.
Assisting with scheduling and workload distribution.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Implementing and adhering to warehouse procedures and safety regulations.
Assisting with the planning and execution of packaging and warehouse
operations.
Order Fulfillment
Assisting with receiving, stocking, and issuing parts.
Preparing and packing orders for shipping.
Collaborating with service departments to ensure parts are available for repair
jobs.
Inventory Management
Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring parts are stored properly
and safely.
Participating in cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
Identifying and addressing inventory discrepancies.
This involves managing the entire process, from receiving parts to shipping
them out, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety
regulations. This includes supervising employees, maintaining equipment, and
optimizing processes.
Additionally, this role will serve as a backup for the IP (Inbound/Outbound
Processing) and DS (Distribution Services) Warehouse Operations Manager
as needed.
Key Responsibilities Would Include
Supervising and Training:
Directing the work of packaging associates, providing guidance, and ensuring
proper training on procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Process Optimization
Identifying areas for improvement in packaging processes, implementing changes
to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
Equipment Maintenance
Overseeing the maintenance, repair, and calibration of packaging equipment to
ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Inventory Management
Monitoring and managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring accurate
tracking of parts and packaging materials.
Quality Control
Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure parts are
properly packaged and protected for shipping.
Safety Compliance
Ensuring all packaging operations comply with relevant safety regulations and
company policies.
Communication And Collaboration
Communicating effectively with other departments, such as warehouse, shipping,
and client customer service, to ensure smooth operations.
Reporting And Analysis
Preparing KPI reports on packaging performance, identifying trends, and analyzing
data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Problem Solving
Addressing and resolving issues related to packaging processes, equipment
malfunctions, or employee performance.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements, Education, and Experience:
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
Very good proficiency in various PC business software programs required
especially MS Excel; AS400 highly preferred but not required.

Pay Range: $68,000 to $78,000
