The job holder reports to the Senior Manager, Raceday Activation (Racing Event Marketing and Sponsorship). The primary objective of the role is to develop, drive, and implement marketing communications programs that promote horse racing as both a lifestyle and a professional sport. The focus is on positioning horse racing as a world[1]class excellence in the racecourses of Sha Tin and Happy Valley, targeting specific audiences.
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Marketing Manager or Marketing Manager to support the Senior Manager in developing comprehensive business and marketing plans. This role emphasizes strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and efficient cross-departmental collaboration to achieve our marketing objectives.
The Job
Facilitate the Senior Manager in defining marketing and communication objectives, KPIs, and target audiences for various projects.
Initiate and implement marketing programs aligned with the Club’s strategic goals and communication objectives.
Collaborate with various departments to align communication strategies, materials, and schedules across all Club channels and business units.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of marketing programs.
Aligning communication angles, materials and schedule of various Club channels and business units.
Evaluate and analyse the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing insights for management review and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Monitor Advertising & Promotions (A&P) spending to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Executive Manager of Racing Event Marketing and Sponsorship.
Ensures compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy and other Club’s policies, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club’s businesses
About You
Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising or related disciplines
A minimum of 8 -10 years’ experience in Marketing, PR or Advertising
Proven experience in marketing, with a strong emphasis on strategic planning and execution
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within a corporate environment that involves multi-department collaboration
Strong marketing knowledge and strategic thinking capabilities
Excellent communication skills, with a focus on cross-departmental collaboration.
Detail-oriented with the ability to adapt to changes quickly
Proficient in PowerPoint and skilled in creating impactful presentations
Strong project management skills, with a good sense of campaign timing and budget management
Experience in Mainland China and an interest in horse racing will be considered an additional advantage
